While our story goes back to one of the original stalls at the Ontario Food Terminal, Owner of King & Raphael Ltd - Anthony Badalis story began in the family retail store, "Badali Gardens". It was in these early professional years on the iconic downtown streets of Church & Wellesley in Toronto, that Anthony, with his retail background, began dealings with fresh produce.

Later on, as a young man, Anthony entered the Ontario Food Terminal landscape working for the classic stall Lensons Celery Hearts Ltd. Which you guessed it, sold celery hearts. It was with Lensons that Anthony later became a partner of and as a result, was known as one of the youngest stall owners at the Ontario Food Terminal.

As aspects of the OFT started to shift, Anthony moved on to become Vice President of Morris Browns & Sons Company Ltd. and partner of King & Raphael Ltd. which collectively comprised of 3 stalls at the OFT.

In 2015, Anthony's son and now Partner, Giacomo Badali graduated from Western's Ivey league of Business School and entered into the produce scene to follow in his fathers footsteps. During this time, King & Raphael specialized in citrus imports from regions such as California, Al Salvador, Egypt, Spain & Morocco.

Today, Anthony & son, Giacomo continue to own and operate King & Raphael Ltd. out of their warehouse in Etobicoke (just west of Toronto). They specialize in DSD deliveries to restaurants, independents & chain stores across the greater Southern Ontario region.
